🇫🇷 Tetra Hydro K, c’est un laboratoire sonore dans lequel deux alchimistes du dub expérimentent de multiples sonorités pour s’inscrire durablement sur la scène électro-dub française. Le duo de producteurs revient cette année avec un nouvel album intitulé « Odyssée ».

Issus respectivement de l’univers de la free party et du trip-hop, leurs inspirations prennent source chez les ténors du dub tel High Tone, Improvisator Dub ou encore Kaly Live Dub. Kanay s’attèle à créer une rythmique implacable tandis que Krilong apporte son génie mélodique au saxophone. Électronique ? Acoustique ? Dub ? Drum’n’Bass ? Tetra Hydro K se concentre sur la combinaison d’éléments organiques dans un univers électronique. Après 4 EPs depuis 2010, le groupe a décidé d’évoluer en 2016 avec un premier album « Labotomie ». S’en suivront 2 autres albums en 2017 et 2018 puis la saison 1 des désormais fameuses « Smoking Sessions » l’année dernière.

Avec ce nouvel album « Odyssée », THK marque avec justesse son empreinte dans le paysage dub français. Ils ont fait de leur passion une expérimentation grandeur nature, une grande diversification des genres et influences musicales que l’on retrouve au travers de nombreux invités.

À L’approche de la sortie de son nouvel album, Tetra Hydro K dévoile un troisième et dernier single : « Skanking Trip ». Sur une production dub stepper savamment dosée, le MC Loïc Paulin du groupe Mystical Faya vient ajuster son flow à ces déferlements de basse incessants.

🇬🇧 Tetra Hydro K is a laboratory in which two dub alchemists are experimenting with multiple sounds to mark their imprint on the French electro-dub scene. The duo of producers returns this year with a new album „Odyssée”.
Coming respectively from the free party and trip-hop universe, they took their inspirations from French dub tenors such as High Tone, Improvisator Dub or Kaly Live Dub. Kanay creates a strong rhythm while Krilong brings his melodic genius with his saxophone. Electronic? Acoustic? Dub? Drum’n’Bass? Tetra Hydro K focuses on the combination of organic elements in an electronic universe. After 4 EPs since 2010, the band decided to evolve in 2016 with a first album „Labotomie”. It was followed by 2 albums in 2017 and 2018 and season 1 of the amazing „Smoking Sessions” last year.
As the release of their new album is coming soon, Tetra Hydro K unveils a third and final single : “Skanking Trip”. On a skilfully measured dub stepper production, MC Loïc Paulin of the group Mystical Faya comes to adjust his flow to these incessant waves of bass.
