Bunny „Striker” Lee był wybitnym producentem i jedną z najważniejszych postaci w historii jamajskiej muzyki. Jako pierwszy nagrywał The Wailers czy Sly & Robbie. W magiczny świat dźwięków wprowadzał takich wokalistów jak John Holt, Delroy Wilson, Ken Boothe czy Horace Andy. Przecierał ścieżki dla jamajskich piosenek na brytyjskim rynku. Wydał pierwszy album swojego przyjaciela King Tubby i odpowiadał za popularne brzmienie “flying cymbals”. Odkrył dla świata Beenie Mana. Jego dokonania są niepoliczalne. W 2008 roku został uhonorowany przez jamajski rząd Order of Distinction.
Zmarł wczoraj na Jamajce w wieku 79 lat.
W 2016 roku na naszym Uniwersytecie Reggae prezentowaliśmy poświęcony mu film „I am the Gorgon – Bunny ‘Striker’ Lee and the Roots of Reggae”.

Bunny ′′ Striker ′′ Lee was an outstanding producer and one of the most important characters in Jamaican music history. He was the first to record The Wailers or Sly & Robbie. The magical world of sounds introduced singers such as John Holt, Delroy Wilson, Ken Boothe and Horace Andy. He was rubbing paths for Jamaican songs on the British market. He released his friend King Tubby's first album and was responsible for the popular sound of ′′ flying cymbals ". He discovered Beena Man for the world. His achievements are countless. In 2008 he was honored by the Jamaican government of the Order of Distinction.
He died yesterday in Jamaica at age 79
In 2016 at our University of Reggae we presented the film dedicated to him ′′ I am the Gorgon – Bunny 'Striker' Lee and the Roots of Reggae ".
